AWS DevOps Engineer

Exacta Solutions is hiring on behalf of a betting software provider. We’re on the lookout for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team in a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be based in Sofia to accommodate occasional in office collaboration.

Our client is a key player in the gaming sector, specializing in creating outstanding games on a robust platform and operating within some of the most prominent regulated
markets worldwide.

This position calls for a skilled professional with hands-on expertise in Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration (CDCI) pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS security tools, and various AWS services. You will collaborate with development and IT teams to streamline, automate, and optimize deployment processes and infrastructure, all while maintaining a sharp focus on security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage CDCI pipelines to enable seamless software delivery.
• Develop and sustain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Use Docker to containerize applications and deploy them via Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Oversee AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Incorporate AWS security tools like Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, IAM, and AWS WAF to maintain a secure infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management to maximize resource efficiency.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD systems like CircleCI for streamlined integration and deployment.
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and ensure code quality.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of direct experience in a DevOps role with AWS as the primary cloud provider.
• Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including containerized application deployment.
• Familiarity with CDCI tools like CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
• Solid understanding of IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of AWS security tools like Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and WAF.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
• AWS DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent AWS certifications.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Previous experience in the online gaming industry is a plus.
