Game Mathematician

Exacta Solutions is currently seeking a Game Mathematician in Sofia, Bulgaria for a fast-growing iGaming company with a
strong international presence. Our client operates across multiple jurisdictions, with physical locations in Sweden, Malta, Bulgaria, Spain, and Gibraltar, as well as remote team members worldwide.

About the Role
As a Game Mathematician, you will play a critical role in shaping innovative game mechanics and developing
mathematical models that define and enhance the overall gameplay experience. Collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams—including developers, artists, product managers, and testers—you will contribute to
the creation of engaging and immersive gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mathematical models and game mechanics to ensure balance, fairness, and
  player engagement.
• Work closely with the development team to assist in integrating mathematical frameworks into game
  mechanics.
• Partner with front-end developers, back-end engineers, and game producers to create cohesive and
  immersive gaming experiences.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all mathematical models and game
  mechanics.

Who You Are

• Proficiency in probability theory and statistics, with the ability to apply these concepts to game
  development.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages, enabling effective collaboration with technical
  teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams.
• A proactive mindset and motivation to tackle complex challenges in game development.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of engaging game mechanics.
• Previous experience in the iGaming industry is highly desirable.
