Head of Sales – Asia

Our client is looking for a Sales and Business development professional to join their team. The main objective of this role will be to grow and develop further the company client base specifically in the Asian market. The chosen candidate will actively and professionally manage the Gaming sales cycle from lead generation and lead management to prospecting, arranging appointments, preparing opportunity reviews, developing proposals and presentations, negotiating and closing.

The Role:
• Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline while ensuring that all pipeline activity is accurately documented and kept up-to-date.
• Create and deliver highly polished proposals, presentations, contracts and other documentation in support of the sales process.
• Undertake product demonstrations in order to ensure key selling points (and features) are matched to identified client needs.
• Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure that the appropriate Account Manager is kept up-to-speed with all relevant details so that all partners receive a high-quality, professional handover from Sales to Account Management.
• Establish and implement account plans to maximise future up-sell potential from existing partners.
• Fully understand competitor products and services (including strengths, weaknesses and pricing)
• Maximise networking opportunities with regular use of conferences, events and special interest blogs/forums.
• Ensure industry and market knowledge is kept up to date and relevant by researching and reading relevant news sources.
• Represent the company at appropriate industry events in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Build strong relationships with valuable customers and provide superb service and gaming experiences tailored to them, across all products.
• Maintain and develop client contacts, through structured account management and plans.
• Thoroughly research and understand a prospect’s business drivers including current status, issues, objectives, requirements and decision making process.
• This role may involve occasional business trips.

Job Requirements:
• Experience in the iGaming industry and network in the Asian market is a must.
• Experience of working in a high profile customer focused environment.
• Successful track record of delivering against and exceeding demanding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship building skills, and the ability to build trust.
• Great organization, planning and prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing world class service to valuable customers.
• Mandarin Chinese or any Asian language is a plus (fluent or mother tongue).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Confident communicator on the phone.
• Able to work on own initiative and be self motivated.
• Computer literacy in the use of spreadsheets, word processing, on-line systems and remote communications.
• Be presentable and willing to travel.
• Degree level or equivalent will be considered an asset
• Good understanding of online casino product will be considered an asset
• Confident with numbers and reporting will be considered an asset
