Sportsbook Risk Manager

One of our clients, seeking a highly skilled Sportsbook Risk Manager for one of our clients in the online betting and gaming industry.  This is a great industry opportunity for a dynamic professional with an in-depth understanding of sports betting operations, a keen eye for regulatory compliance, and strong expertise in risk management.

The role is office-based in Yerevan.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leverage comprehensive sports knowledge, including rules, historical trends, and key players, to accurately assess odds and market dynamics.
• Stay updated on current sports events, trends, and developments across various leagues and competitions worldwide.
• Monitor regulations in regulated gambling markets to ensure compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.
• Work with internal teams to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and implement effective compliance measures.
• Utilize advanced statistical models and data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sports betting data.
• Develop proactive risk management strategies and oversee day-to-day sportsbook operations.
• Review sportsbook promotions to assess their impact on customer behaviour and risk exposure.
• Provide detailed evaluations of promotional campaigns, suggesting improvements for maximizing engagement while managing risk.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in sportsbook risk management with a deep understanding of sports betting markets and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
