Our client, a growing iGaming operator are in the process of moving the payments function internally and therefore looking for a manager who can take ownership of this department.
This is a fully Remote position offered in the European Union
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with payment service providers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize payment processing efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Evaluate new potential payment providers and build mitigation plans
- Understand local payment needs and identify existing gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, compliance, and marketing to ensure seamless functionality of payment products
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that settlements are received in a timely and efficient manner and as per agreement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure operational teams are up to date on all changes applied to the payment infrastructure
- Monitor, analyse and provide insight and reporting on the customer activity and overall payment performance to the business
- Identify, recommend, and deliver improvements to the customer payments experience
- Work closely to the technical teams in relation to integrations and payment product development
Skills and Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in iGaming across the payment department
- Experienced in selecting, negotiating with, and managing payments providers
- Good network of PSPs and familiarization with various payment methods
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the payments and fraud ecosystems within the Gaming industry across International markets
- Knowledge of PaymentIQ/Devcode is a must
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end processes for multiple payment services
- Data driven, with strong analytical skills and comfortable with various BI tools
- Great communication skills, self-reliant way of working with ability to define, structure and prioritise based on business needs
