Publishing Team Lead

We are looking for a strong and experienced team leader to lead, scale, and optimize our publisher relationships and manage the Publishing Team.
This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for managing key publisher relationships and driving the overall growth of team performance.
The ideal candidate brings a strong sales and business development background preferred iGaming and mobile affiliation, with the ability to proactively identify business growth opportunities, negotiate strong partnerships, and apply a sales mindset across all aspects of the team’s work. This is an on-site role based in Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Publishing team ensuring strong accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across all team members.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance targets and actively track progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Coach and mentor the team on sales approach, negotiation skills, and effective partner management.
  • Improve internal processes and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.
  • Own and drive performance across all publisher activities, with a strong focus on profitability, traffic quality, and scalability.
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into actions that directly impact growth and optimization.
  • Work cross-functionally (AdOps, BI, Product, Finance) to improve tracking, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Drive growth strategy across publisher partnerships, identifying and unlocking new opportunities across geos, channels, and verticals.
  • Lead negotiations with key publishers to secure high-value, scalable deals that support long-term revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic publishers, personally manage top-tier accounts, and represent the company externally (events, conferences, outreach).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Publishing Team Leader or similar role is a must
  • 3-5 years experience working with publishers, in-app traffic, and MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, Kochava) is a must
  • 3–5+ years of business development experience with in-app traffic and digital/performance marketing
  • Experience in iGaming or affiliate marketing is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to build and execute growth plans for existing partners
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales-driven mindset with strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze and optimize performance
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
