Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

An international B2C iGaming operator is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team and support the next phase of international growth. This is a strategic leadership role for a senior finance professional with a strong background in the iGaming industry, capable of driving financial performance, supporting commercial decision-making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building scalable financial processes across multiple markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board and senior leadership team, providing financial direction and insight to support sustainable growth and operational excellence. This is an on-site role based in Sofia, Bulgaria

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in line with business objectives.
• Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, supporting growth initiatives and market expansion plans.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Lead long-term financial planning and performance management.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and cash flow management.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Requirements:

• Significant senior finance leadership experience within the iGaming industry.
• Strong understanding of online casino, sportsbook, payments, and gaming business models.
• Experience working across multiple international jurisdictions and regulated markets.
• Proven track record managing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, taxation, and audit processes.
• Experience supporting high-growth businesses and international expansion.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to partner with business leaders.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Fluent English is required.
