Legal Counsel

About the Role:

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our growing iGaming platform provider. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will play a crucial role in providing legal and regulatory support to ensure our business operations remain compliant with industry regulations. This is a Hybrid role based in Limassol, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and compliance support across the company’s business activities.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Monitor and interpret changes in gambling industry regulations and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist with licensing applications and regulatory filings.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and support business initiatives.
• Handle legal disputes, regulatory inquiries, and internal compliance audits.

Requirements:

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• 2+ years of experience in the gambling/iGaming industry (MUST).
•  Strong knowledge of AML/KYC, GDPR, and compliance regulations.
• Exceptional legal writing and editing skills in English.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher – strong communication skills are essential.
