Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced, analytical, and technically skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our client’s team within the iGaming industry in Manila, Philippines.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and supporting the delivery of platform improvements and new features.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in technical business analysis, experience working with iGaming platforms, and the ability to manage requirements and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyse, and translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
• Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and documented.
• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to support development activities.
• Analyse complex requirements and identify opportunities to improve existing processes and functionality.
• Manage and maintain product backlogs to ensure development priorities are clearly defined.

Technical Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and wireframes to support product development and feature enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation and requirements specifications.
• Review existing processes and recommend improvements to workflows, tools, and delivery practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation repositories and ensure information remains updated.
• Apply technical knowledge of web applications, databases, and SQL to support requirements analysis.

Product & Development Collaboration

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure business requirements are translated into practical technical solutions.
• Support Agile delivery processes and contribute to the effective management of development activities.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s gaming platform, products, and services.
• Take ownership of assigned product areas and act as a technical point of reference within the IT organisation.
• Support the delivery of new features and improvements across the gaming platform.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain transparent communication throughout development activities.
• Identify and communicate potential business risks, technical challenges, and delivery dependencies.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure requirements align with business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Technical Business Analyst role within the iGaming industry.
• Previous experience working with B2B iGaming products will be considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in technical requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development processes.
• Experience creating user stories, managing product backlogs, and supporting development teams.
• Proficiency in wireframing tools, process mapping, and workflow diagram creation.
• Experience working with web applications and understanding their technical functionality.
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Ability to analyse complex technical requirements and interpret data effectively.
• Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation and requirements repositories.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
